Brenda Kay Deyo Brenda Kay Deyo Prophetic Live Painter Biography Brenda Kay Deyo is a self-taught professional live painter. She began painting live for church services, local events, and live music concerts. Her most recent event was at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio TX. For Crusade 300. She also paints live to help raise funds for organizations like Adult and Teen Challenge and other evangelical church events and nonprofit organizations. Her art is prophetic in nature because it is inspired by the word of God as it is revealed to her through revelation while she paints. She paints live the visions she sees through the prophetic gift she has as a born-again Spirit filled Christian. When she enters the atmosphere of His presence, she can demonstrate the power of emotions through the use of various colors. She can see in the spirit what is not seen visually and brings it into reality what is already there. Using a simple set of paintbrushes, and texture creating materials, she paints with acrylics on a canvas, and within hours, a masterpiece is created. Her technique is a simple 3 stage process. She begins with listening and being aware of her environment to see the pallet of colors she will choose. Then she begins with moving along with music using paintbrush strokes of color and creating indistinct shapes and forms to indicate the subject. She finishes the piece with the details by adding lights and shadows and creating depth with tones of colors and then adds her own signature strokes with her initials in the corner to let you know it is complete.
